State Level Seminar on Network Technologies

State Level Seminar on Network Technologiewas conducted on March 18, 19 & 20, 2005 at Institute of Management Studies, Career Development and research, Station Road, Ahmednagar. 18th March 2005 (Friday) was Inaugural Session. Chief Guest for the session was Mr. Puranik of Sandvik Asia. 19th March 2005 (Friday) was session on Microsoft Network Technologies. The session was conducted by Nauzad Kapadia & his collogues on .NET Technology. Post lunch session was Demo cum Hands on Session. 20th March 2005 (Friday) was session on Open Source Network Technologies. The session was conducted by Khusahal Bhansali, Onward Novell, Mumbai, Kapil Kasetwar, IBM Pune, and Suhas Ingle, Pune. Post lunch session was Demo cum Hands on Session. MCA faculties from all over Mahrashtra participated in the seminar. It was a grand suceess.

One Day workshop

One Day workshop on Uniform syllabus for MCA course of all the Universities in Maharashtra was held at Institute of Technology & Management Nanded on 26th November 2005. The Workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Dhananjay Yedekar, Vice Chanceller of Shri. Swami Ramanand Tirtha Marathwada University, Nanded. Dr. D.P. Sawant, Secretary presided over the function. 30 faculty members from various Universities in Maharashtra attended the seminar and expressed their views.

HR MEET

A one day HR MEET was organized by MAMI on ‘Human Resources in IT – Needs and Challenges’, on Saturday, 29th April 2006 at Hotel Le Meridian, Pune. The HR MEET was attended by 250 Faculty members and student representatives of 45 member Institutes all over Maharashtra. On this occasion HR professionals from various reputed IT Industries guided the students and faculty members. Honorable Shri. Ashokraoji Chavan, Minister for Industries, Mining, Cultural Affaires and Protocol, Maharashtra State, inaugurated the function. Dr. S.B.Kolte, Executive President, MAMI, gave welcome address. Dr. S.B.Kolte spoke about the purpose, mission and objectives of MAMI and reviewed the activities of just more than one and half year old MAMI right from its inception.
